Rhys Jahn of Clarkston went up north to Flint with her dad Derek Jahn to meet anime voice actor Bryce Papenbrook at Anime Flint Celebration, April 23.
She cosplayed as Touka Kirishima, whose alias is “Rabbit,” from the anime show “Tokyo Ghoul,” during the event at the University of Michigan-Flint Northbank Center.
Attendees spent time talking to and getting autographs and photos with Papenbrook, who voiced lead roles in anime shows including “Attack on Titan” and “Sword Art Online.” They also raised $500 for the Flint Child Health and Development Fund, in response to the water crisis.
