Wolves with top finishes on links

The Wolves are getting ready as they head into MHSAA Districts this Wednesday at Twin Lakes Golf Club.
The Clarkston Boys Varsity Golf team prepared with three meets last week, ending with the Oakland County Championship.
They finished in seventh place out of 25 teams during the county meet at Pontiac Country Club on May 18.
Juniors Brady Dice and Noah Sampson tied for 12th place for top individuals with a 75 as the team scored 313.
Freshman Noah Bridgeman finished with an 81; freshman Patrick Deardorff, 82; and freshman Harry Bowman, 84.
The boys finished in fourth place out of 18 teams at the Dearborn Elite Invitational with a team total of 323, May 16.
Deardorff led the team and finished in the top ten with a par of 76.
Dice finished with a 80; Sampson, 81; senior Jimmy Haven, 86; and senior Mason Skinner, 92.
The Wolves finished in sixth place in the Milliken Millwork at Wyndgate with a team total of 318, May 9.
Deardorff hit a 76 for a Top 10 Finish Individual. Dice finished with a 78; Bowman, and Haven, 82; and Bridgeman, 91.
The Wolves compete against Lake Orion, Lapeer, Oxford, Rochester, Rochester Adams, Stoney Creek, Troy, Troy Athens, Waterford Kettering and Waterford Mott in the districts for a chance to advance to regionals.
