Senior Nick Bowman helped his team in a big way in a short amount of time against Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep.

Bowman scored three goals in a span of 42 seconds before the first half closed in the Clarkston Boys Varsity Lacrosse team’s game on March 30.
It helped boost the boys to a 10-7 victory and their second consecutive win for the season.
“Nick wants to be our guy,” said Brian Kaminskas, head coach. “He wants to be the one we look to to put a ball in his stick. The more we do it, the more success he is having. It is a self-fulling prophecy. Everytime we put the ball in the stick, we find we can count on him just that much more. We were extremely happy to see him take the lead there and do the work the way he did.”
Bowman led the team with four goals at St. Mary’s Prep.
He came back from spring break to score one goal against Troy and had seven assists in the 14-1 win.
Bowman and his teammates play Lake Orion this Saturday at 7 p.m. during Game for a Cure at Clarkston High School.
