A push at the end of the game did not help to bring the boys lacrosse team a win over Lake Orion.
They lost the game, 7-5.
‘We played 48 minutes complete,? said coach Brian Kaminskas. ‘Sometimes it doesn’t go your way. The boys played hard. The boys did everything we asked them to do.?
Andrew Schram led the game with two goals and one assist. Adam Zak, Jon Avery and Matt McEntee each had a goal.
Kevin Giaier, Forbes Dever, and Avery had one assist in the game.
The boys hosted Plymouth on Saturday and won, 9-6. Jon Avery led the game with a hat trick, and two assists
They lost to Troy on Tuesday, 12-7.
Schram had three goals, Zak two goals, Rob Julian and Weston Gleiss each one.
The team is looking ahead for this week.
‘Our big game, we are getting worked up for, is May 10,? said Kaminskas. ‘We have our ‘game for a cure.? That’s the one everyone is working towards. It should be a challenging week. We’re working hard, we should definitely grab a few victories out of it this week.?
The boys played Farmington United on Tuesday.
They host L’Anse Creuse on Thursday and Rochester United next Tuesday. JV begins at 6 p.m., varsity follows.
They will play Rochester Adams in their ‘Game for a Cure.? JV begins at 2 p.m., varsity follows. The boys? record is 4-7.
