Helmer retired from General Motors as a press operator, enjoyed traveling, collecting clocks and Westerns in his retirement. Funeral service Saturday1:00 p.m. at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston where friends may visit Friday 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Saturday after 12 Noon. Memorials may be made to Grace & Peace Community Church.
