CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF INDEPENDENCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That at a regular meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board of Trustees held on March 21, 2017, the Township Board approved a Second Reading of the Alex’s Market Planned Unit Development rezoning request and amendment to the to the Township’s Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of reclassifying certain property situated in Section 31 of the Township from Limited Industrial (ML) to Planned Unit Development (PUD); Parcel #08-31-303-004, located on the north side of White Lake Road, east of Andersonville Road. The proposed plan is for a mixed use commercial development on a vacant site 3.16 acres in size. The project will consist of both passenger vehicle and truck fueling islands, a 10,054 sq. ft. main floor market/coffee shop/bakery, and an 8,123 sq. ft. grill/entertainment center in the upper level received from petitioner Holly Nannoshi Properties, LLC, 3745 Princeton Court – Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48302-1248 as follows:

The motion to approve this rezoning was moved by Trustee Ritchie, Seconded by Trustee Aliaga. The vote on the motion was as follows: Yes: 7; Absent: None; No: 0. The motion carried.
