Clarkston Village Players’ “Leading Ladies” by Ken Ludwig opens this weekend, with shows on May 4-6, 11-13, and 17-19.
In this hilarious farce, out-of-work British actors Jack and Leo, played by David Stokes and Cody Barger, pose as long-lost nieces of an elderly rich woman, played by Linda Mishler, in order to get her inheritance. Romantic entanglements abound, especially when Leo falls head-over-petticoat in love with the old lady’s vivacious niece Meg, played by Jenna Pittman, who’s engaged to the local minister, played by Mark Sheperdigian.
Tickets are $13, Thurs/Sun; and $15 Fri/Sat. Order advance tickets at 248-425-5842; email cvptickets@comcast.net; tickets at the door are based on availability.
