Local food, fun take the stage at Clarkston Food Truck Rally

The Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional Network hosts their third annual Food Truck Rally on Friday, May 18, from 4:30-9 p.m. in the Neiman’s Family Market parking lot, 7121 Dixie Highway.
Admission is free.
The event will have 16 food trucks, beer and wine tent, Kid Zone, and exhibitors.
Returning food trucks include Grillwich Tot Shop, Hero or Villian, Delectabowl, Nosh Pit Detroit, The Mean Weenie, Monkey Business Concessions, Crepe-Day-Twah, Streetside Sushi, Cortina Local, and The Salt & Sugar Co.
New Food Truck Rally contenders include Bigalora, a Wood Fired Cucina serving a variety of pizzas and gelato; El Charro, with their specialty puffy tacos and Mexican cuisine; and Motor City Pasty Company. Other first time Food Truck Rally participants include Backyard BBQ, Simply Spanish, and TruckShuka.
Two live music stages will feature local musicians The Beth Stalker Duo and FeRn Whale.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, tear-down and keeping the venue clean throughout the event. Interested volunteers can send their information to Katie@Clarkston.org.
