Some of Everest Academy’s littlest Mountaineers donned spirit wear to help their big brothers and sisters prepare for the new school year.
“They are ready to cheer on their favorite sports teams this fall and can’t wait to join our ranks in a few years,” said Mary Williams of Everest.
Faculty and staff were busy, Aug. 17, preparing to receive students and families on campus for high school orientation and locker assignments, and optional Meet-the-Faculty for academy students.
Everest’s Mini-Mountaineers Mommy & Me program for children from birth to 3 years begins on Sept. 18 and 20 – two sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The program, which is open to all, is designed to be a fun, social interaction between moms and their children with others in the community, Williams said.
It will be in one of the Everest preschool rooms, with hands-on activities to simulate various learning styles and senses, listening to books, creating crafts, playing in the gym or playground, and making a special visit to the chapel.
