Nativity comes to life at Walk

George Hamilton of Clarkston guides a group through the Walk Through Bethlehem.

Walk Through Bethlehem, a holiday tradition in north Oakland County, is back this year at Waterford Community Church.
Guided tours through the indoor dramatic re-enactment, with Roman soldiers, merchants, townspeople, and shepherds speaking of Christ’s birth, life, death and resurrection, take approximately 30 minutes and begin every five minutes.
Stroll through various shops, and see live animals, shepherds, and the stable where Christ was born.
Performances at the church, 3900 Airport Road just west of Dixie Highway in Waterford Township, are Dec. 7-9 and 14- 16; Fridays, 7-9 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays, 4-8 p.m. Admission is free.
