‘I coached some of these girls before,? said Freeman.
Before coaching, she has played tennis for 15 years and still continues playing.
‘What I can do is give them some advice,? she added. ‘Most of the girls are getting to the level they are so good that they are working with a pro. I give them more mental and help them out to be competitive.?
Freeman expects the young varsity program to do really well, especially in the years to come.
‘I am excited about what the future will bring,? she said. ‘They are really stong and really good contenders. They are fun to watch because they are really strong. I will be very interested to see how it falls out. It is very exciting I happened to walk in at this point.?
Freeman has been a Clarkston resident for the last 12 years and has worked for Clarkston Community Schools for eight years. She is a paraeducator in Early Childhood Special Education.
‘I have two boys at home so this is my girl time,? said Freeman.
