The Amyloidosis Foundation of Clarkston is hosting the Run for Your Life Zombie Run, 5K and 10K walk and run at Independence Oaks County Park on Saturday, Oct. 21.
The 10K starts at 9:30 a.m.; 5K starts at 9:45 a.m. Entry fee is $45 for the 10K; $35 for the 5K, for a Run for Your Life long sleeve tech shirt, finisher’s medal, prizes for top performers and costumes, food and drink at the finish line, and Chronotrack timing by Newton.
Both events start and end at the Twin Chimney pavilion in Independence Oaks County Park, 9501 Sashabaw Road. Entry fee is $5 unless you have a yearly pass.
All profits will go toward amyloidosis patient support and research programs. The non-profit at 7151 N. Main St., Suite 2, in Clarkston has two local events a year, including a golf outing.
