Tons of Trucks roll into Clintonwood Park, 6000 Clarkston Road, Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The annual Independence Township Parks, Recreation and Seniors program invites children to admire, sit in, and climb on a wide variety of local trucks and vehicles. The first 200 children receive a free, festive hat.
Say hello to Bob the Builder, enjoy music, and try out a craft at The Arts & Scraps Mobile. Clarkston Area Lions Club offers free vision screenings with their Project KidSight. All ages are welcome. Pre-register before Aug. 3 at the township offices, 6483 Waldon Center Drive, $3/youth; or purchase on-site Aug. 4, $5/youth. Admission for adults is free.
