We were short-handed at the end and we still tied the game. It was nice to see our second effort. I was happy we fought back and got a point.?

‘Those are two top rated schools,? said Krygier. ‘It’s the same as it was with the Trenton Showcase against Traverse City Central and Sault Sainte Marie. It depends on how we play and what our focus is and hopefully we finish strong so we can carry that momentum over to our first playoff game.?
The Wolves have to wait until Saturday to see how they finish in the league. The game against Farmington and Farmington Hills Unified will determine how Clarkston finishes.
‘If Farmington beat Farmington Hills Unified, then we finish in third. If Farmington Hills beats Farmington then finish in fourth,? explained Krygier. ‘Overall it will be a good OAA finish, it was really tight there.?
The boys will play Brother Rice on Wednesday at Oak Park Ice Arena and will play Grosse Pointe North at Mt. Clemens Ice Arena on Saturday. Both games start at 6 p.m.
Then, they play West Bloomfield in the first Pre-Regional game on Monday at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Ice Arena at 8 p.m.
They beat West Bloomfield earlier in the year, 8-1.
‘We can’t take them for granted,? said Krygier. ‘We need to put the puck in the net like we did last time.?
