Blue pinwheel gardens bloom each April in Clarkston as a part of a nationwide campaign, April is Child Abuse Prevention Month—raising awareness about preventing child and adolescent adversity, including child abuse, before it happens. The campaign is sponsored by Clarkston Area Youth Assistance (CAYA), which has been providing prevention programs and casework services since1961that help to strengthen the well-being of Clarkston children, adolescents and families.
