The Hagopian Dragons recently captured the LOYBL league’s Junior White Division with a 12-1 record.
This is the second year in a row that the Hagopian team has won their division title. The Dragons pitched their way to two no-hitters and five shut outs during the season, which helped them make a clean sweep in the White Division.
Hagopian, managed by Brian Denemy, consisted of nine- and 10-year-olds. The assistant coach was Konrad Schlenner.
The 10-year-olds were: Travis Bowler, Justin Denemy, Brendan Geraghty, Kevin Imber, Robert Russell and Justin Stross. The Dragon nine-year-olds were: Nicholas Deeg, Kyle Foxall, Christopher Maron, Chaz Miller, Toby Murray, Sam Schlenner, Nick Vogelmeier and Grant Wilson.
