Ortonville- Sergeant Tim McIsaac of the Oakland County Sheriff Department substation informed council that he will provide quarterly reports of incidents that occur within the village limits.
Currently McIsaac supplies the township board with a quarterly report that includes the both the village and the township, however McIsaac said he will have to compile the village list by hand.
He stated he will personally calculate the number of crimes, or incidents that his deputies respond to in the village because the village figures are not separated on the county report system.
While Public Service Aide Larry Roberts says the village is a well behaved place, for the most part, McIsaac says there are occasional calls to the skate park, and he will build statistics to keep the village apprised of the incidents.
