Ortonville-Village manager Paul Zelenak said the three-foot decorative banner will hang on the South Street lamp post for two weeks and invites comments from downtown visitors and members of the Downtown Development Association as to weather the banners should become permanent seasonal, or customized, fixtures.
Zelenak said the banners could be hung to escort in the fall, spring, and summer seasons, but would not replace the traditional Christmas wreaths hung each year.
