Jonathan Geoffrey Lloyd, 31, of Pontiac was arraigned, March 28, on intimidation and computer-use-for-harassment charges.
An Independence Township couple called police after noticing the suspect pacing back and forth in their backyard, 4:30 p.m., March 26.
When they saw him, the lady of the house asked why he was there, and he shouted back her name and said she told him to be there. She recognized him as someone she used to know who would disrupt youth services at her church, and shut the door. Her husband called 911.
Three deputies were sent to find the man, and located him walking on Maybee Road. He said he was on his way to church to talk to his pastor.
He said he was homeless and was in town for the Woodward Dream Cruise. He was jailed on a traffic warrant out of 52-2 District Court, and charges were sought.
He is being held in Oakland County Jail on a $100, interim bond, stalking misdemeanor, 52-2 District Court; $2,500, 10 percent bond type, DWLS/DWLR, 52-2 District Court; $100, interim bond, Computer Used In Commission Of Crime, 52-2 District Court; and $500, 10 percent bond type, Disturbing the Peace, 52-2 District Court. Pre-trial is set for April 11.
