Auditions for Holmes

The Clarkston Village Players are holding open auditions for their March production of “Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily” on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m.; and Monday, Dec. 16, 7 p.m. at the Depot Theatre, 4861 White Lake Road.
Characters in the mystery by Katie Forgette, presented by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc., include Sherlock Holmes; Dr. Watson; Lillie Langtry, a popular actress with an enchanting sense of humor and startling beauty; Oscar Wilde, famous playwright, bon vivant, and flamboyant personality; Mrs. Tory/Mrs. McGlynn, housekeeper/elderly servant; Abdul Karim, faithful servant to the Royal Family; Professor Moriarity, nemesis of Sherlock Holmes; and John Smythe, criminal lackey working for Moriarity.
Auditions consist of readings from selected scenes. Scripts or sides will be provided at the audition. Actors may attend one or both nights of auditions and must be 18 years or older.
