Letter to the Editor: Why one waste hauler?

Single hauler for trash? NO! Competition has kept waste hauling rates low. The monopoly that exists in other cities where my friends and family live have astronomical rates and ridiculous rules and requirements. No thanks! I value my ability to choose the rate and hauler I want. Ron DeLorme Independence Township

Letter to the Editor: No more whining

My state rep is Maddock. My U.S. rep could be Lisa McLain. Tudor Dixon wants to run for governor. All three are endorsed or appear to be favored by by the person who pouted in his White House bedroom after he lost the election. People were dying from a virus and he’s boo-hooing. We need […]

As a past planning commissioner of almost 20 years, I have been involved in local government longer than anyone serving now. As a lot […]

Letter to the Editor: Brown is the choice

After my wife, Paul Brown is my best friend, but that isn’t why I’m voting for him for township supervisor on August 2. The reason is simple: he is the most qualified. I’ve known Paul since high school, and I also know that when he wants to do something, he puts 110 percent effort into […]
