Back open after 3 years

After more than three and a half years, a local dentist office has reopened in downtown Clarkston.
Clarkston Village Dental was forced to close after a gravel hauler crashed into the building on April 20, 2018, causing significant damage, but no serious injuries.
The office, located at 55 South Main Street, opened back up for business the third week of August after having a secondary office at the Waterfall Plaza on Dixie Highway in Waterford. That office will remain open for the foreseeable future.
To celebrate the grand reopening, Clarkston Village Dental had a booth at September’s Taste of Clarkston event, entering new patients’ names into a drawing who registered for their first appointment at the office and then kept their appointment. More than 40 people entered the drawing.
Last week, the winners of the drawing were announced, with Lisa Barth winning a 70-inch flatscreen TV, Jason Barens winning a set of AirPods, and James Preston getting an iPad.
