Best wishes for long-time city engineer

Dear Editor,
Congratulations and best wishes to Gary Tressel, City of the Village of Clarkston’s long-time city engineer and resident, on his retirement.
Gary has been the city’s engineer as long as I can remember. He has been little known yet one of the most valuable and steady resources to the city over the years.
Mr. Tressel has been a relentless supporter of the city and tremendous advocate. Every project the city has pursued over the last several decades have Mr. Tressel’s fingerprints on them.
I can not think of one project that the city has taken on that he has not advised on. Mr. Tressel has not only officially represented the city with it’s major projects while working for the firm of Hubble, Roth, and Clark, he has given countless hours of guidance and support as a resident of the city. Over all these years, he has not received the recognition he truly deserves.
Gary should know his outstanding dedication, service and loyalty to the city has not gone unnoticed, is very much appreciated, and will be sorely missed. Thank you so much Gary for your outstanding guidance over all these years. Enjoy your much deserved retirement.
