At the September 13 Clarkston City Council meeting, a resolution to spend approximately $5,000 to repaint the street parking lines, crosswalks and stop bars was approved. 
A resolution to amend a previously approved resolution for paving pathways in Depot Park was also approved, allowing the broken pathway leading to the gazebo to be fully removed and repaved. 
The Tree Committee discussed city easement trees that have died and need replacing, and a detailed recommendation will be brought to council on September 27.
Lastly, the council approved the appointment of resident Jennifer Cotter to the Zoning Board of Appeals, replacing Margaret DaCosta, who stepped down from the ZBA after serving almost 40 years.
