INDEPENDENCE TWP. — The Clarkston Boys Swim and Dive team lost a close home meet against Oxford last Thursday, 103-80.

The relay team of Guzal, Miller, Davidson and Covintree finished the 200-yard medley relay in first place in the time of 1:48.42. The team of Guzal, Smith, Davidson and Covintree finished the 200-yard freestyle relay in first place, 1:36.30. The team of Ryan, Zarzycki, Sloan and Smith finished the 400-yard freestyle relay in third place, 3:52.48
Jonathan George finished in first place in the 1-meter diving, scoring 177.40 points in six drives. Rockett George finished in third place with 119.30 points.
The Wolves opened the week with a 114-66 loss to Rochester, Jan. 14.

For relays, the team of Guzal, Miller, Davidson and Covintree finished in first place in the 200-yard medley relay in the time of 1:48.79. The team of Covintree, Guzal, Zarzycki and Davidson finished in second place in the 200-yard freestyle relay, 1:38.61. The team of Smith, Kornas, Ryan and Zarzycki finished in third place in the 400-yard freestyle relay, 3:56.62.
J. George finished in first place in the 1-meter diving, scoring 215.55 in six dives.
The Wolves head to Groves this Thursday, 6 p.m. and head to Oxford for the Wildcat Diving Invite on Saturday. They head to Royal Oak on Thursday, Jan. 30, 6 p.m.
