Costumed kids lined up for candy from their favorite movie and cartoon characters at Friendly Forest at Clintonwood Park, Oct. 21.
They enjoyed sunny weather at the event, hosted by Independence Township Parks, Recreation and Seniors and Clarkston Area Optimist Club. Young Optimists and volunteers in colorful costumes were stationed along a trail deep in the park. Kids dressed in costumes went from station to station for candy treats.
