Davisburg Road will be closed in Springfield Township for a culvert replacement project on Saturday, Oct. 23.
The road will close from Dixie Highway to Bridge Lake Road. The detour for this closure is Dixie Highway to Rattalee Lake Road to Bridge Lake Road, back to Davisburg Road and vice versa.
Davisburg Road will reopen to traffic the evening of Oct. 23. In case of inclement weather, the project could be moved to Sunday, Oct. 24.
During the work, access to businesses and homes will be maintained.
The road closures are being done during the weekend to minimize traffic impacts. The culvert work will be done by RCOC Highway Maintenance Department crews.
Davisburg Road from Dixie Highway to Bridge Lake Road carries approximately 2,436 vehicles daily.
