While the school year was delayed, the Everest Collegiate High School and Academy student attitude of service never stops.
As students prepared to return to campus this week, the EC student government organized a service opportunity for high school students this week. The students came together to prepare the playground area for younger students.
Well aware that every part of the school day will look different for students, the high school students wanted to help make their day a little brighter and help out the maintenance staff at the same time.
Student government invited their classmates, teammates, and all EC students. Seventeen students showed up at 9 a.m., September 1, to help out weeding and mulching the playground area.
