Students in Erin Shaw’s English class at Clarkston Junior High School, inspired by the book “Spilled Milk” by K.L. Randis, collected canned goods for women and children in need.
The students were inspired to give to an organization that empowers women and children to rebuild their lives after domestic abuse. All canned goods will be donated to a women’s shelter in Plymouth. The students will be collecting canned goods until May 2.
They are accepting donations. Just drop them in the main office or lobby donation box at CJHS.
