In junior hockey circles, Clarkston native Brendan Dicker (top left) was named one of the USPHL Mountain Division Forwards of the Month for November after solid outings with the Pueblo (Colo.) Bulls.
The 2019 Clarkston High School graduate had two assists in a November 6 shootout loss to the Northern Colorado Eagles, and then finished the month with five more helpers in the Bulls’ three games at the IHC Showcase, including three in a 7-3 win over the Utica Jr. Comets.
Over in college hockey, Boston University freshman Ty Gallagher (top right) was chosen Hockey East Defender of the Week on December 13.
Gallagher, a 2021 CHS grad, assisted on all three goals in the Terriers’ 3-3 tie with Boston College on December 10. He followed up that performance by scoring the game’s first goal in the Terriers’ exhibition contest against the U.S. National Under-18 Team the next day.
