Kenneth Klebba, 78

KLEBBA

Kenneth (Ken) John Klebba of Punta Gorda, Florida (formerly of Clarkston), passed away peacefully May 31, 2020, after a long illness at the age of 78.
Ken was born in Detroit to Emily and Leonard Klebba. The second of five boys, Ken lived in Michigan for the majority of his life. He is survived by his brothers Dan (Patty) and Tom (Gayle) and preceded in death by brothers Jim (Katie) and Gerard (Mary Jean).
A 1964 graduate of Lawrence Technological University, Ken was a CPA and a partner at Collins, Buri & McConkey before his retirement in 2004. He was a longstanding leader at the American Diabetes Association’s Michigan Chapter and a past trustee with Walsh College.
A long-time Clarkston resident, neighbors will remember his perfectly groomed beach and docks full of sea-doos and boats on Green’s lake – usually filled with people at the Klebba’s latest party.
After retiring to Florida, Ken was a volunteer Sherriff’s deputy with the Palm Beach County Police Department, which he greatly enjoyed.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife of more than 30 years, April, and is survived by his wife of 13 years, Elaine (Lainey), son, Chris (Caryn), and grandsons, Griffin and Benjamin. Ken was like a father to and best-man at the wedding of Stephen and Melissa Seed.
Ken will also be greatly missed by his second family: sons Tom, Tim, and Nick; grand-daughters Amanda, Taylor, Alex, and Alaina; grandsons, Tim and Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Willow, Keelyn, Abby, Carson, and Kyla.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
