Alex’s Market and Grill owner Steve Nannoshi pulled the request for a Planned Unit Development amendment pertaining to an LED sign at the Oct. 8 Independence Township Board meeting.
Following that meeting, the owners reinstated the request, and second reading has been scheduled for the Oct. 22 Township Board meeting.
First reading was approved unanimously by the board on Sept. 10. The Planning Commission had recommended denial, with conditions, at its August meeting.
Alex’s Market and Grill is located at the corner of Andersonville and White Lake roads.
