Recently, I viewed the PBS documentary “Storm Lake – Family-Run Newspaper Keeps Local Journalism Alive.” It reminds all of us of the importance of independent local journalism
We are very fortunate to have The Clarkston News, and the work of Don Rush, in our community. Our support of them keeps us better informed about the area, goings on, and our neighbors in ways that no other source can.
They deserve our support.
Transparency is vital to a vibrant community. The Clarkston News is an important part of being informed.
I strongly encourage all of us to support this newspaper and those who bring it to us.
We need them as much as we need them!
