The David W. Elliott Memorial Foundation, located in Clarkston, recently provided grants to two local entities – $2,000 to Clarkston SCAMP for summer activities and $5,000 to the First Congressional Church of Clarkston for its food bank.
In addition, the foundation will be providing $10,000 to Gleaners Food Bank in Detroit since the food bank is receiving matching funds and the foundation’s grant dollars are doubled.
The foundation is currently working on a matching grant program for the North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy, also located in Clarkston. The foundation also provides multiple grants to charities nationwide.
