The Clarkston Everest Collegiate Boys Varsity Basketball team cinched the Catholic High School League title with a 71-55 win over Cristo Ray, March 10. Michael McGrath led with 23 points and Joey Thibodeau had 20 points.
They posted a 43-36 win over Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard last Thursday. Lucas Cross led with 13 points and McGrath had 12 points.
The Mountaineers play in the semifinal round MHSAA Division 4 Boys Basketball District 126 playoffs next week. They play Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes on Thursday, March 25.
The winner moves on to the district championship on Saturday, March 27. Both games are at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes.

Everest Boys JV team lost the Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard last Thursday, 69-36. They finished the season on Saturday with a loss to Detroit Catholic Central, 64-39. They finished the season 7-4.

The Clarkston Everest Girls Varsity Basketball team lost to Clawson on March 10, 47-39. They lost to University Liggett last Thursday, 51-47.
The Mountaineers play in the semifinal round MHSAA Division 4 Girls Basketball District 126 playoffs next week. They play Oakland Christian on Thursday, March 24.
The winner moves on to the district championship on Friday, March 26. Both games are at 7 p.m. at Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes.

The Clarkston Everest Collegiate Cheer team finished the CHSL Championship in second place last week.
They finished with a total of 691.48 points with 210.10 scored in the first round; 200.88 in the second round; and 280.5 in the third round.
Dearborn Divine Child finished in first place with 730.12 points. Divisions were combined this year due to many cancelling.
