Clarkston-based Nemeth Marketing ended 2020 on a high note as its owner, Julie Nemeth, received two distinguished honors.
Nemeth was elected to a three-year term to the University of Michigan Alumnae Council (UMAC) as a member-at-large and will serve as the organization’s marketing committee chairperson.
UMAC is an affiliate organization of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan and works towards the equitable inclusion of women in all facets of the University of Michigan community.
Nemeth also received the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce’s President’s Award, which is the highest honor given by the chamber by its outgoing president.
Carrie Wheeler of McLaren Oakland announced Nemeth as her awardee, saying, “Julie Nemeth has a superior commitment and dedication to the chamber and is a staple of the Clarkston community. She is involved in many nonprofits and is passionate about giving back to members of our community in need.”
Nemeth serves on the Clarkston Chamber’s Board of Directors and holds the volunteer positions of outreach chairperson at her congregation St. Trinity Lutheran Church and as a steering committee member of My Habitat Clarkston.
