New treasurer

Caitlain Bentoski is the new treasurer of the City of Village of Clarkston.
Clarkston City Council approved the hire unanimously, April 11. She replaces Sandra Barlass, whose last day with the city was April 21.
Bentoski lives in the Clarkston area and has an accounting background. She was interviewed by Mayor Joe Luginski and City Manager Carol Eberhardt.
“I think she would be a good fit from the standpoint of background and knowledge,” Luginski said.
Salary is unchanged at $30,000 per year.

Services for pets

Oakland County Parks and Recreation is partnering with All About Animals to offer services for dogs and cats including $10 vaccinations and $20 microchips, heartworm tests, and preventative treatments, at Independence Oaks County Park, Pine Grove Pavilion, 9501 Sashabaw Road, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, June 11.
Oakland County Animal Control and Pet Adoption will be available for owners to purchase dog licenses.
