True North Seal Coating completed seal coat work on the Washington and Main, and Depot Road parking lots, Sept. 10-11, including new angled parking next to Depot Park.
“I’m very happy with the results. They did a phenomenal job,” said City Manager Jonathan Smith.
Officials discussed reverse-angle parking, in which drivers back into parking spots, but went with regular angled parking.
“In the end, we had to defer to the city engineer,” Smith said. “His comfort level with reverse parking just wasn’t there. I had to go with my expert.”
