Independence Township Parks, Recreation and Seniors Master Plan
The Independence Township Parks, Recreation & Seniors Department is seeking public review for the 2023-2027 Community Recreation Master Plan. A 30-day review period will begin on November 14, 2022 and end on December 16, 2022. The plan will be available on the Township Parks, Recreation & Seniors website, and printed copies will be available at the Township Hall and the Senior Center at Clintonwood Park. A final public input/review meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the Township Hall, 6483 Waldon Center Dr., Clarkston, MI 48346. A public hearing will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023, also at the Township Hall at 6:00 p.m. The Recreation Master Plan consists of desired capital improvements for township parks and trail development over the next five years.
