September 20, 2016
A. A Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board was called to order at 7:04 PM at Independence Township Hall.
B. The Pledge of Allegiance was given
C. ROLL CALL: Present: Kittle, Pallotta, Brown, Aliaga, Lohmeier, Ritchie, Schroeder
Absent: None
There was a quorum present.
Also Present: Wendy Hillman, Finance Director; David McKee, DPW Director; Brian Oppmann, Zoning Ordinance & Code Officer; Barbara Rollin, Senior Division Supervisor; Derek Smith, PR&S Director; Rick Yaeger, Budget Analyst; Steven P. Joppich, Johnson, Rosati, Schultz & Joppich, P.C.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA: As amended by REMOVING Item I-3 – Presentation: Review 2017 CIP Plan and Budgets for Sewer and Water Funds and ADDING the following items under Regular Business: M-10 Request to Amend Previously Adopted Motion 2015-11-224-a – Program Year 2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Application and Conflict of Interest Certification; M-11 Request to Amend Previously Adopted Motion #2015-11-224-b – Allocation for Public Services / Senior Center Services; M-12 Request to Amend Previously Adopted Motion #2015-11-224-e – Allocation for Other / Minor Home Repair; M-13 Request to Approve Agreement – Program Year 2016 Subrecipient Agreement / Community Development Block Grant
