Sashabaw Middle School hosts an electronics recycling event from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Nov. 2 in the front parking lot of the school, 5565 Pine Knob Lane.
Items accepted include computers and servers, phones and phone systems, laptops, cellular phones and accessories, LCD computer monitors, digital cameras, rechargeable batteries, cable boxes, modems, toner cartridges, satellite receiver boxes, computer parts, printers, switches, routers, DVD and VCR players, game consoles, computer cords and cables, household appliances, docking stations, keyboards and mice, LCD, LED and plasma televisions, fax machines, battery back ups, portable MP3 players, and tablets.
They will not accept CRT monitors and TVs, or alkaline batteries. Call 248-270-5842 for more information.
High Tech Recycling is donating their time to help with this event.
No cost. Donations will be accepted, benefitting Academic Service Learning projects at Sashabaw Middle School.
