The city of Clarkston has been working closely with Oakland County on a grant application to obtain winter weatherization supplies for local restaurants.
The application deadline was last week, and Clarkston City Manager Jonathan Smith said, “We’re hopeful to hear back soon about what supplies – such as greenhouses, outdoor heaters, sanitization sprayers – may be provided to our community. Our thanks to the county for understanding the needs of our restaurants and responding with a sense of urgency.”
