Flemings Lake and Walters roads between Clarkston and Waldon roads in Independence Township will close June 14 through late July for a road resurfacing project.
The detour is Clarkston to Sashabaw to Waldon Road and vice versa.
The work is funded mainly through an Independence Township road millage. The closure is necessary for the removal of the current pavement, grading/gravel work on the road’s base and paving with asphalt.
