Rolling over competition

The Clarkston Boys Varsity Bowling team won their match over West Bloomfield last Friday, 30-0.
Patrick McLetchie bowled a 236 and a 184 for a 420 series. Logan Sutherland had a 179 and a 202 for a 381 series and Christian Bradford had a 193 and 167 for a 360 series.
They opened last week with a 27-3 win over Troy Athens at Century Bowl, Feb. 9. Bradford bowled 212 and 205 McLetchie bowled 212 and 194. Sutherland bowled a 233 and 164. Nathan Sayyae bowled a 197 and 177. Stephens bowled a 174.
They (4-1) lost to Oxford, 22.5-7.5, Feb. 10. McLetchie had 237 and 232. Bradford had a 215 and Rio Westlund had a 185.
The Clarkston Girls Varsity Bowling team opened the season with a 29-1 win over Troy Athens on Feb. 9. Madison Kortman bowled a 201 and 177 for a 378 series. Angelina Stowers bowls a 177 and 165 for a 342 series.
They lost to Oxford, 26-4, Feb. 10. Stowers bowled a 242 and 194.
The girls defeated West Bloomfield on Friday, 28-2. Stowers bowled a 175 and 160. Kortman had a 157 and Gabrielle Preston bowled a 171.
Both teams play North Farmington on Friday and Lake Orion on Monday.
