Rust on, rust off

Last Wednesday, Grapplers came back from their break ready for action and proved it by winning their meets against Rochester and Troy.
‘We definitely looked like we haven’t wrestled in about two weeks, but we wrestled hard,? said Coach Joe DeGain.
‘We got to take a little bit of the rust off from the past two weeks.?
The Wolves first competed against Rochester to win 38-27.
Wrestlers to win by default by scoring the most in points were Jeff Sloney (103), Ty Foltz (112), Matt Dietz (125), Chris Burkhart (135), Adam Lauzun (160), and Sloan Hadsall (185).
Bryant Craft (171) pinned his competition 40 seconds into the first period. Mike Richmond (215) added points for the team with a pin as well.
The Wolves continued the dual meet against Troy and won 49-20.
The Wolves held control of the meet by earning their points from pins.
Sloney (103) pinned his competition with 45 seconds left in the first period. Another wrestler pinning their competition in the first period was Craft (171) with 41 seconds left in the period.
By the end of his second period, Foltz (112) made his pin with 18 seconds left.
More wrestlers to make pins were Matt Dietz (125), Zack Burrow (130), and Lauzun (160).
Richmond (215) won by earning the most points.
‘Mentally it should have been a little bit of a wake up for them so they are more prepared,? said DeGain.
‘It will be a tough tournament for them on Saturday and its one of the toughest in the state. They needed a dual meet like this to get ready for it.?
