Seniors party safely all-night at high school

Dear Editor,
The senior all-night party at Clarkston High School was one of the highlights of my senior year. It should also be a highlight of your child’s senior year.
The all-night party gave the senior class somewhere safe to go after graduation. Compared to schools like Lake Orion and Oxford, who’s tickets cost around $90, Clarkston’s cost only $40.
For the $40, kids get unlimited food and drinks. Not only that, but kids also get a chance to win prizes and gamble in a fake casino (always bet on black). There are also blowups for kids to race and have fun on. If you are into magic, you’re in luck because there are magicians, too.
The best part of the night comes at the end when a hypnotist comes and hypnotizes anyone who wants to. I can tell you from my personal experience, this was one of the funnest things I was able to do senior year.
I got to hang out with my friends, while playing blackjack and laughing at people getting hypnotized.
As a parent, would you rather your child be out partying and possibly get injured, or at a safe place to go and hang with friends?
Your child has the opportunity to win prizes that can definitely be used in college. My best friend won a chest, and I have seen how he uses it in his dorm.
Last year, I tried to win a fridge or a shaving kit. I definitely can say it would have been a regret not going to this. If you want your child to be safe, be with their friends, and have fun, then the senior all-night party is the place for them.
