Sex sting operation nets Clarkston arrest

Three men, including one from Clarkston, who believed they were arranging to have sex with an underaged girl – only to learn they were making a rendezvous with law enforcement – are charged with multiple felonies that could land them in prison for up to 20 years if convicted.
Richard August Prausa, 45, of Clarkston (pictured), was arrested along with Fazlollah Farz Haritash, 64, of Farmington Hills, and John Erwin Dingens, 61, of Corunna.
The men were arrested in Independence Township.
Each is charged with four felonies: child sexually abusive material – felony: up to 20 years in prison and/or $100,000 fine; computers – using to commit a crime: 10-20 years and/or $10,000 fine; children – accosting for Immoral Purposes: four years and/or $4,000 fine; and computers – using to commit a crime: 4-10 years.
The men were arraigned July 9 in 52-1 District Court in Novi and released on bond.
