Time to stuff the bus with supplies to benefit community

Getting into the holiday spirit, the Clarkston Community Schools’ Transportation Department is hosting its annual Stuff-A-Bus event this Saturday and Sunday, December 11-12, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the Neiman’s Family Market parking lot at Dixie Highway and White Lake Road.
All donations and proceeds benefit Lighthouse of Oakland County, located at 46156 Woodward Avenue in Pontiac.
Items to donate include pantry items (boxed potatoes, pasta sauce, dry pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, macaroni and cheese, eggs, and milk), personal/baby items (laundry detergent, tissues, cleaning supplies, feminine products, soap, shampoo, disposable razors, diapers), and teen items (gift cards, movie passes, gas cards, body wash, body spray, and makeup).
For the 2020 event, the estimate from the two-day Stuff-A-Bus 6,000 pounds in food and over $1,500 in cash and gift cards.
