The Brandon school district’s regular election will be held Monday, June 14.
Any qualified and registered elector of the Brandon school district wishing to seek one of the two four-year positions on the Brandon Board of Education should note the filing deadline of April 12, 2004. Election law requires the nominating petitions must be signed by a minimum of 40, and a maximum of 100, registered voters. Board of Education candidates also have the option of paying a nonrefundable filing fee of $100 instead of filing nominating petitions. All candidates are required to file an affidavit of identity.
