Teare-Mauro
Shannon Teare and Joseph Mauro were united in marriage May 21 at the First United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor.
The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Robert Roth and a reception followed at the Polo Fields Golf and Country Club of Ann Arbor.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Wendy Teare, of Suwanee, Ga., formerly of Ortonville and the granddaughter of John and Elaine Teare, of Longs, S.C., and John and Alice Noble of Ortonville.
The groom is the son of Louis Mauro, of Falls Church, Va. and Debra Cook-Christiansen, of El Cerrito, Calif. He is the grandson of Alice Mauro of Fairfax, Va., and Joseph and Peggy Cook, of State College, Pa.
The couple met in the choir at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. Joseph is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and Shannon currently works as a high school French teacher in Chelsea, Mich. They will move to Annapolis, Md. in the fall, where the groom will clerk for the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the bride will pursue a master’s degree in French at the University of Maryland.

Ying-Saindon
Paul Saindon and Jennifer Ying were married Oct. 10, 2010 at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Md.
Attendants were Bill Saindon, Jensen Ying, Dan Schreiber, Christina Saindon, Adrian Ahumada and Caryn Bullard.
The groom is the son of Bill and Judy Saindon of Goodrich. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cornell Law School and is an attorney for Morris, Nichols, Arsht and Tunnel in Wilmington, Del.
The bride is the daughter of Robin and Linda Ying of Holmdel, NJ. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Pennsylvania Law School and is a law clerk for the Delaware Supreme Court.
The couple plans to honeymoon in Taiwan this summer. They reside in Wilmington, Del.

Mark and Lori Carter, of Lake Orion, and Stan and Val Kinney, of Clarkston, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Jamie Kinney, to John Locher, II, son of Michelle Lomason, of Clarkston and John Locher, of Lapeer.
The wedding took place in Miami, FL, February 22, 2010 on Carnival’s Disney cruise ship.
Bridesmaids were Tonya Kinney, Staci Kinney and Leslie Sells. The groomsmen were Jeremy Dell, John Locher and Don Westphal. The reception will take place this summer.

Joe & Tina Zach of Lake Orion proudly announce the marriage of their son, Lance Corporal Michael Zach, to Lindsey Tadajewski, the daughter of David & Sharon Tadajewski of Troy.
The couple married February 14th in a private ceremony on Topsail Beach in Surf City, North Carolina. The couple will reside in North Carolina where the groom is currently stationed at Camp Lejeune with United States Marine Corp.
A renewal of vows and reception will be held for family and friends at a later date.

Billy graduated from Columbia Collage in Chicago with a film major and is working for 1821 Pictures in Los Angelas, CA.

Donald and Nancy Danko, of Lake Orion, are proud to announce the wedding of their daughter, Kelly Danko, to James Sadauckas, son of Joseph and Karin Sadauckas, of Scranton, PA, on Saturday, June 27, 2009 in Milwaukee, WI.
The bride is a graduate of Lake Orion High School, class of 2000, and pursued collegiate studies at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where she earned a Bachelor of Science as well as a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She is currently working as a physical therapist in sports medicine in Mequon, WI.
The groom is a graduate of Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in two-wheeled vehicle dynamics from the University of Padua, Italy. He is presently employed as a vehicle development engineer for Harley-Davidson.

Farkas-Belanger
Thomas and Toni Farkas of Brandon Township are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Deanna Roylene, to Daniel J. Belanger.
Deanna, a 2000 Brandon High School graduate, and Daniel, a 1996 Davison High School graduate, were married on Aug. 29 at the Stone Angel Wedding Chapel in Davison. The wedding was followed by a reception to celebrate. Deanna is currently attending nursing school at Baker College in Flint. Daniel is a machinist at Incoe, Corporation in Troy.

Runnells-Hotchkiss
Fran Runnells and Tim Hotchkiss were united in marriage on Aug. 15 at Lake Louise Church of the Nazarene.
Pastor Dave Gerber officiated the ceremony. Fran’s matron of honor was her dear friend and assistant, Robin Loughlin. Bridesmaids were Fran’s daughter, Savannah, and new stepdaughter, Mandi Hotchkiss. The bride’s son, Shawn, gave her away.
Tim’s best man was his oldest brother, Terry. Groomsmen were Tim’s brother Loren and Tim’s son, Josh. The reception was held at the Oakland County Sportsmens Club in Clarkston. The couple honeymooned in Bar Harbor, Maine. They reside in Goodrich.

Garett and Krystal (Bedtelyon) Smith
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Smith, of Lake Orion, announce the wedding of their son, Garett Adam Smith, to Krystal Marie Angelica Bedtelyon. Krystal is the daughter of Roberta and Wade Moore and Kenneth Bedtelyon, all of Montrose.
The groom is a graduate of Lake Orion schools and Oakland University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental sciences and is employed as a health inspector for Oakland County. The bride has a Bachelor of Arts degree in writing and religion from Adrian College.
The wedding took place in Fenton, August 22.

Jason Fields and Shannon Pettypiece
Shannon Pettypiece and Jason Fields will be married Sunday, May 24 in Central Park.
The bride, 27, is a reporter for Bloomberg News where she writes about the pharmaceutical industry. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in political science. The bride’s mother, Aileen, is a science teacher in Pontiac. Her father, Doug, is the owner of Troy Corners Door Co. Both parents live in Oakland Township.
The groom, 38, is editor of The Riverdale Press, a weekly newspaper in the Bronx. He has previously worked for The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Associated Press. He is a graduate of St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland and grew up in Manhattan. The groom’s parents, Susan and Stanley Fields, are both retired and live in Manhattan. The groom’s son, Isaac, 9, is a student at P.S. 24 in the Bronx.

Lisa Ann and Aaron Thierry
The wedding of Lisa Ann Nelson and Aaron Thierry took place Jan. 31 at the First Congregational Church, in Romeo.
Lisa is the granddaughter of Alice Young, step-daughter of Curt Young and sister of Julia Young, who served as the maid of honor, all from Lake Orion.
The groom is a 1996 LOHS graduate. His mother, Linda Thierry, is also a resident of Lake Orion.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.

Preston-Frezza
Jessica Preston of Clarkston and Paul Frezza, Jr. of Ortonville were married on Sept. 1 at Faith Church in Waterford.
The bride is a dental office assistant manager in Rochester. She is the daughter of Susan and Jeff Cook of Ann Arbor.
The groom is employed with DSS Corporation in Southfield and is also a gymnastics coach at GOB Gymnastics in Ortonville. He is the son of Julie and Paul Frezza, Sr. of Ortonville.
The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic and reside in Burton.
